Intertech Rail Returns to InnoTrans 2026 with New Railway Technologies

New Railway Technologies at InnoTrans 2026

Intertech Rail at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin, showcasing railway technologies

Intertech Rail is heading back to Berlin for InnoTrans 2026, one of the world’s leading international trade fairs for transport technology and a key meeting point for the global railway industry.

Intertech Rail is no newcomer to InnoTrans. Wilson Antunes and Alexandre Nogueira have attended the event for many years, building relationships and following the technologies shaping the future of rail. Since the 2024 edition, Intertech Rail has expanded that presence with its own booth, and in 2026, we are returning with new technologies to present.

Taking place September 22 to 25, 2026, in Berlin, Germany, InnoTrans brings together railway operators, infrastructure managers, manufacturers, engineers, and technology providers from around the world.

What’s New from Intertech Rail at InnoTrans 2026

This year, our booth will highlight new developments across yard management, AEI and asset visibility, and switch machine technologies.

Intertech Rail will showcase Rail-ID Argus, our Yard Management System designed to provide precise railcar identification, real-time positioning, and complete operational visibility. By combining AEI technology, AI-driven analytics, and centralized control, Argus helps automate processes such as train assembly, wagon sequencing, and traffic coordination while providing operators with the data needed to reduce delays and improve asset utilization.

We will also present the evolution of our AEI enclosure platform, Rail-ID ARK. Designed for demanding trackside environments and configurable for up to four independent tracks, ARK integrates Rail-ID Edge computing, AEI technology, environmental monitoring, resilient power management, and secure cloud connectivity within a customizable architecture. Optional solar power also enables deployment at locations where conventional external power is unavailable.

An Expanding Switch Machine Portfolio

Our Switch Machine portfolio is growing as well. At InnoTrans, visitors will be introduced to the IRYM16 electric hydraulic switch machine, brought to our portfolio through a new partnership. Designed for both yard and mainline applications, the system combines rugged hydraulic actuation, low-maintenance operation, remote control capabilities, and a trailable design. Its rapid 1.2-second full throw makes it particularly suited to demanding rail automation environments.

Meet the Model X

The Model 2 family is expanding too, with a new portable solution joining the Intertech Rail portfolio: the Rail-ID Model X Handheld Android UHF RFID Reader. Built for field identification and data collection, it supports AEI, ATA/AAR, Balise, EPC Gen2, and ISO/IEC 18000-6C applications, combining long-range RFID reading, barcode scanning, wireless connectivity, and Rail-ID software in a rugged IP65-rated device. And these are only some of the developments we are bringing to Berlin.

Join Us for the Intertech Rail Happy Hour

InnoTrans is also about connecting with the people behind the industry. On Thursday, September 24 at 5:00 PM, Intertech Rail will host a Happy Hour at our booth. Customers, partners, and railway professionals are invited to stop by, meet our team, exchange ideas, and enjoy a drink with us after a busy day at the show.

Save the date and join us at Hall 27, Booth 150.

Meet the Intertech Rail team throughout InnoTrans and discover our latest technologies for safer, smarter, and more connected railway operations.

See you in Berlin!
